With over thirty years of professional experience, discerning clients choose Eric Ferguson to fulfill their audio engineering, music production, and audio education needs. 

A native of Northern California, Eric completed his undergrad in Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music and his masters in Afro-Latin Music at California State University Los Angeles. 

As a staff engineer at the legendary A&M Studios, Eric worked with numerous platinum recording artists, including Chicago, Ringo Starr, Macy Gray, and Billy Corgan.  As a freelance engineer, Eric has been involved in over one hundred recording, mixing, and post production projects, including work for such luminaries as Phil Collins, Aretha Franklin, Kool & The Gang, Fourplay, and Dave Grusin.

An accomplished sound reinforcement engineer, Eric has toured internationally with artists such as Lee Ritenour, James Ingram, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jonathan Butler, and Dave Koz. Eric’s skillset is broad, including front of house and monitor mixing, system engineering and installation, and tour and production management.

An experienced audio educator, Eric serves as an Assistant Professor of Audio Engineering at the New England School of Communications at Husson University in Bangor, Maine. He has also taught at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, California, and at California State University Los Angeles.

As a writer, Eric has contributed extensively to Recording Magazine. He has also been published in Live Sound International and ProSoundWeb.com

Eric has presented at the Audio Engineering Society convention, Parsons Audio Expo, and Maine Science Festival.
